- I suspect it's due to media hype, and peopel not actually sitting down
- and thinking about it. One sees all these monitors advertised as *NON
- INTERLACE*, so your PC buying public thinks that it must be
- good. Doesn't matter that at the same frame refresh rate
- (i.e. graphics bandwidth) an interlace display actually flickers
- considerably less than the signle field display. Can't let facts get
- in the way of a good rant now can we?
